Bradley Dack’s late penalty won all three points for Blackburn Rovers, as Tony Mowbray’s side defeated an in form Queens Park Rangers 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Blackburn Rovers started with Jayson Leutwiler in goal for the first time since April after first choice ‘keeper David Raya picked up severe facial injuries in a clash with West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez last weekend.

It was a tight clash at Ewood Park, but Bradley Dack picked up his ninth of the season with just three minutes plus stoppage time remaining to succumb Steve McClaren’s Queens Park Rangers to their first loss in five games.

The victory sees Tony Mowbray’s side rise to eighth place in the Championship table, keeping up with the chasing pack for the Play-Off positions.

Fans were full of praise for the victory, despite not putting in their best performance of the season – a characteristic of successful sides.
