Since the arrival of Jacob Mellis subject to a medical, Blackpool’s official twitter has announced that a new signing will be unveiled later on.

The troubled club will only have 10 senior players contracted to the club once this ‘mystery man’ is signed however they have more to worry about as they will need a squad of at least 18 for their opener up against Nottingham Forest on the 9th of August.

Blackpool are currently without a senior goalkeeper at the club and with just 12 days until the season begins away at Nottingham Forest, they need desperately to bring one in as well as six more players after Mellis was announced earlier and a new player is to be revealed soon.

Currently at the club, protests from the fans have gone on targeting chairman Karl Oyston who Blackpool fans have been enraged at over the lack of signings and money put into the club as well as the arguments in which he was supposedly close to sacking manager Jose Riga  who was close to leaving. This was due to a standoff the two had over the current transfer situation.

The player some fans expect to sign later is Tomasz Cywka.
