Leeds United fans are gearing up for a tricky game in under an hour against Nottingham Forest. A win will see them regain the top spot and see the Whites on a two-game unbeaten run at Elland Road.
Last time out, United turned over a poor Ipswich Town side, the Tractor Boys being soundly outplayed in a game that saw them part with manager Paul Hurst.
Forest will provide a step up in threat for the West Yorkshire side, a step up in class as well. Forest are currently sitting in 9th place in the table, a win for them will lift them into the play-off places.

Leeds have made three changes to the starting XI for this afternoon’s game, two enforced by injury and the other a result of manager Marcelo Bielsa’s choice. Pontus Jansson comes back into the side after his one-game ban from the FA, replacing the injured again Gaetano Berardi; Stuart Dallas maintaining his place with Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison also missing.
The other change, one born from choice, has seen influential attacking midfielder Samu Saiz drop to the bench, his place taken by the fully fit again Adam Forshaw. Many fans, whilst acknowledging Saiz’s trickery and game-changing ability, have had concerns that he’s appeared somewhat jaded over recent games.
As expected, this selection has been a talking point on Twitter, here’s what some Leeds United fans have been saying about the Whites’ starting XI:
Dallas over Pearce ♂️?

Love dallas to bits but unfortunately he just ain’t a wing back

I hope it’s Alioski starting at LB and not Dallas. Looked well out of place against Blackburn

Don’t wanna slag him off but bielsa wtf are u thinking playing Dallas ♂️

As can be seen, the majority of concerns are over Irishman Stuart Dallas and the fact that Bielsa could be playing him at left-back.

Ecstatic to see Forshaw in. Great decision and should help with the midfield battle – Forshaw and Klich are both energetic and combative players. Saiz has been terrible a while now and should be a decent option from the bench. Dallas at LB has me shitting it though – @L_Tremlett

Saiz has been poor this season, about time he’s dropped
