Bristol City will be looking to record their third straight win in the Sky Bet Championship when Stoke City are the visitors to Ashton Gate on Saturday.

The Robins have beaten both Brentford and Hull City by 1-0 scorelines in the last seven days and now face a Stoke City side which are in poor form.

The play-off chasing Robins go into their latest match with doubts over defender Nathan Baker who is currently recovering from a head injury sustained during the victory against Brentford last weekend and the player is likely to be assessed prior to kick-off on Saturday. Other than Baker’s possible absence, Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has no new injury concerns to contend with.

Stoke City make the long trip to the South West with just one point in the bag from their last two league outings. The Potters have won four of their 14 league matches to date and an immediate return to the English Premier League looks to be unlikely at this stage.

Manager Gary Rowett could again be without midfielder Sam Clucas as the player continues to recover from a knee injury, however, Nigerian international Peter Etebo may return.

Almost 2,000 Stoke City fans are expected to make the trip to Ashton Gate with the match kicking-off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
