Forest stopper keen to stay at the club

Karl Darlow has said to the Nottingham Post that he is keen to stay with the club and gain experience of First team football at the City Ground.

He seemed keen to comment on the club and his desire to stay despite not seeming fazed that Premier League top 5 sides were chasing him, when interviewed for the Nottingham Post he came across very modest about himself and happy with his place at number one at his current club.

“It is a compliment, isn’t it, being linked with Premier League clubs,” he said. “But nothing has happened and I still have three years left on my contract here.

“I am very happy with the club and I am very happy playing. When I am playing is when I am at my happiest.

“When you come out and play every weekend, you cannot beat that.”

“Of course – I want to play football. I want to play football every week. I want that pressure of playing in front of thousands of fans,” he said.

“That is when I am at my best, that is when I am happiest performing. So yes, I am happy here.”
