Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing up a surprise move for Blackburn Rovers’ star playmaker Bradley Dack, according to the Evening Standard.
Championship high flyers West Bromwich Albion are considering a return for Blackburn Rovers star Bradley Dack, after they had a bid for the 24-year-old rejected in the summer transfer window. However, they could be set for competition from Champions League side Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino was keen to bring in an English playmaker from the Championship in the shape of Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish in the summer, but the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement – despite the fact reports throughout the summer stated Spurs were willing to pay up to £25m for the attacking midfielder. However, the deal fell through after Aston Villa’s financial worries were eased when Egyptian investors came in and insisted that Grealish was not for sale at any price.
The Evening Standard are reporting that Pochettino has been keeping an eye on Dack this season, and could make a move for the playmaker in the January transfer window.
Dack has got off to an impressive start this season, adjusting to life in the Championship brilliantly. The former Gillingham man has scored eight goals for Rovers this season, and was nominated for the Player of the Month award for September, despite missing two games through injury.
