Harry Redknapp has quoted to Get West London regarding Troy Deeney “He’s a player that interests me, the chairman has been talking to Watford but I think there’s one or two other clubs bidding as well.”
This implies that Rangers are clearly very keen to secure the services of the striker who a range of different clubs are already chasing including Swansea,Leicester and Burnley.
The striker has been a large topic of interest this summer as we have reported an array of stories on him here at The72 but now Deeney looks like he is set for a move to Loftus Road ahead of anywhere else, especially with Rangers having cash to spend and a vacant striker spot to fill.
With Remy on his way back to Loftus Road for now as well, a deadly partnership looks on the cards. Redknapp quoted regarding his strikers to Get West London “We need four or five good players to give us a squad who are capable of competing.”
