Gareth Southgate has announced his latest England squad to face Croatia and Spain their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, and has called up three youngsters for the first time.
Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City playmaker James Maddison have been joined in the squad by Derby County’s Mason Mount – on loan from Chelsea.

The Derby County midfielder has started the season in impressive fashion, picking up five goals in his first 14 appearances for The Rams. England manager Southgate has been looking for a “new Paul Gascoigne”, as he searches for a new creative spark to bring into the team, and believes that 19-year-old Mount could be the answer.
Both England fans and Derby County fans are thrilled with the news, and have also praised Southgate’s bold decision to call up a relatively unproven youngster.
