Nottingham Forest missed the opportunity to move into fifth place in the Sky Bet Championship table after throwing away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Millwall at The City Ground.
Goals from Joe Lolley and Joao Carvalho gave Forest a cushion against a Millwall outfit who were always a threat. The Lions roared back though with Shaun Williams and Lee Gregory scoring late on to salvage a point for Neil Harris’ side.
After the match, Forest fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result with some singling out goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon’s performance as a key reason for the two points dropped.
I am not a complainer or moaner and always support the team but that was woeful. We were lucky to get a point . Laboured and one paced . Pants simply had a mare or was dropping some serious gear #NFFC

Can’t blame Karanka for Pantilimon throwing the ball out to the opposition, palming the ball back out into the six yard box and consistently kicking out long, out of touch or completely off target. #nffc

#nffc Forest lucky to get a point. Disjointed performance, everything was individual with vry little flowing football. Joao was poor, Grabban isolated and Fox struggled with the height of their front 2. Need to win those games in this league for top 6. Dissappointing

Massive 2 points dropped tonight, I’ll be shocked if we get anything at the riverside Saturday. Odd substitutions and diabolical goalkeeping 🙃 #nffc

Didn’t deserve much out of that to be fair. We somehow managed to get into a great position and blew it #nffc

We will have set backs, we are going to lose games, we are going to throw points away! That's the championship! The fact is we are in a better place than we were, one step at a time #nffc

I want to be positive, but it’s just not good enough. It’s too defensive. Get in front and keep pressing. We asked for that tonight. Not good. #nffc

Disgusting performance from #Nffc. A point is more than we deserved yet I am gutted thats all we got. Only Joe Lolley showed up tonight.
