Leeds United are back to winning ways and although the game only finished 0-1 it felt like the performance matched the result. Leeds dominated the game and despite missing opportunities to really take control of the game Marcelo Bielsa navigated the side to a crucial three points.

Player Ratings

Baily Peacock-Farrell – 7 – Didn’t have much to do in all honesty. Distribution was good but you wold expect him to be worked a lot harder come Saturday.

Luke Ayling – 6 – Started very poorly but came back into his own in the second half.

Pontus Jansson – 8 – #T72MOM – Brilliant performance hub Jansson. Looking very much back to his best in a Leeds shirt.

Liam Cooper – 7 – Another solid performance from Cooper. Decent on the ball and steady at the back.

Barry Douglas – 7 – It’s becoming easy to see why he gets so many assists but not many goals. Hoping his injury isn’t too bad.

Kalvin Phillips – 7 – Played in a couple of roles last night, the now familiar centre-back and in midfield. Was good on the ball.

Mateusz Klich – 7 – On the ball a lot last night and eventually ended up playing in the number 10 role once Saiz was subbed off.

Jack Harrison – 6 – Didn’t click into gear last night but looks like a constant threat. Ball sticks to his feet and he rarely gives it away.

Gjanni Alioski – 6 – Isn’t doing enough at all for me but has moments in games where he can be the outlet.

Samu Saiz – 6 – Didn’t have his best game and the lack of movement isn’t helping his cause. The dive was probably the moment Bielsa decided to replace him.

Tyler Roberts – 7 – As a striker sometimes not playing well doesn’t matter, scoring does. A bullet of a low drive wins the game for Leeds.

Adam Forshaw – 6

Jamie Shackleton – 5
