Crawley Town are in the hunt for a new manager after Harry Kewell left them for fellow League Two side Notts County. Here are five potential candidates to replace him-
Jay Saunders- He has recently parted company with National League side Maidstone United, of whom he had been at since 2011 and had guided to three promotions. He did an impressive job with the non-league side and could be rewarded with a Football League job in the near future.
Gary Bowyer- The experienced boss is available after leaving Blackpool last month. He got them promoted from League Two in 2017 and comfortably kept them up in League One last season. Bowyer, who has also previously managed Blackburn Rovers, could make a shift return back into the game with Crawley.
Kevin Nolan- Could it be a case of swapping managers for Crawley and Notts County? Nolan was sacked by the Magpies after just five games this season despite getting them to the Play-Offs last season. He is still a promising young manager who will get another chance.
Russell Slade- He is a familiar name amongst Football League fans and Crawley could turn to his experience. The former Yeovil Town, Brighton and Hove Albion, Leyton Orient, Cardiff City, Coventry City, Charlton Athletic and Grimsby Town boss is available and an option for Crawley. Slade has managed over 800 games in his career.
Keith Curle- Another available manager, Curle left League Two side Carlisle United at the end of last season. He has also previously been in charge at Chester, Torquay United and Notts County and could be tempted by the vacant position at Crawley.
