Ben Alnwick has joined Peterborough, their chairman Darragh MacAnthony confirmed earlier on twitter on a 3 year-deal.

Alnwick has spent his pre-season with Blackpool and also with Bradford City. He was expected to sign for the Seasiders especially due to current problems with their non-existent squad which consists of only eight players.

He will be expected to be Peterborough’s final signing of the summer.

More turmoil and worry for Blackpool fans though with only 14 days until the new season begins.
