Blackburn Rovers’ Adam Armstrong has told the club website that the entire team is confident going into their Sky Bet Championship match against Hull City.
Blackburn are returning to league action this weekend after having a break from it with a match in the Carabao Cup during the week. It ended up being a simple game for Blackburn as they easily dispatched Carlisle United with a 5-1 win. While their opponents Hull also progressed, they had a tougher time as they needed penalties to beat Sheffield United following a 1-1 draw in regular time.
Because Blackburn are yet to lose this season, Armstrong has said that they are very confident going into Saturday’s match against Hull. However one problem is that while they are unbeaten, they haven’t won in the league yet as they have only drawn so far. So Armstrong says that while the team are very confident going into this game, he still says it is important to make sure they get the win.
He said: “Confidence is high and I think over the last three games we’ve played some really good football so far this season. It’s one of them where we go into the next game looking for those first three points,”
