Liverpool Youth to be loaned out?

Reports are circulating that  Liverpool may receive loan bids for 20-year-old Jack Robinson, The Warrington born defender joined Liverpool back in 2002 and has come through the youth ranks to try and break into the youth team.

It is reported that both Brentford & Middlesbrough are thought to be keeping tabs on the England U21 after his current loan spell at Blackpool last season where he got a full 34 appearances under his belt .

Posh bid rejected for Smith

According to the Bristol post Peterborough have failed to land target Michael Smith after a bid for the defender has been rejected by Bristol Rovers. The 26-year-old has been on the transfer list after handing in a transfer request.

Smith was a constant top performer for Rovers last season and after the negotiations have gone stale between the two clubs he finds himself back at  Memorial Stadium training with the club.


Cheltenham target released Ashley Grimes

According to the Bury Times, Bury have released Cheltenham target Ashley Grimes after mutually cancelling his contract with the club. The 27-year-old joined Bury from Rochdale last season however failed to score a single goal in 18 appearances for the club.

Cheltenham Town where poised to strike a deal for Grimes earlier in the season however any potential deal fell through, However now with the strikers release it is likely that The Robins may snap him up.
