Sheffield Wednesday fans were disappointed with the team announcement as Keiren Westwood continues to be frozen out of the first team.
The Owls did not get off to the best start last week. In their trip to newly promoted Wigan Athletic, they ended up losing 3-2 with goals from Atdhe Nuhiu and Fernando Forestieri not being enough to give them any points. To make things worse, Nuhiu was eventually sent off for getting two yellow cards. They will be in a Yorkshire derby today as they take on Hull City who lost 3-1 to Aston Villa in their first match of the season.
Wednesday will be hoping to bounce back from that loss and have announced the team they believe will be able to get all three points today.

The big news is that Keiren Westwood is still not in the first team. When he didn’t make it into the first team last week, many assumed that he was going to be leaving the club. But with transfer deadline coming and going with no movement on that, there was hope he’d return to the first team today. But instead he will be watching from the stands as Cameron Dawson keeps his spot in the first team while Joe Wildsmith is on the bench.
The other big news is that Steven Fletcher is returning to the first team after being ruled out of the rest of 2018 with a serious injury. He replaces Nuhiu who is suspended for today’s match though fans were hoping that Lucas Joao would get this chance.
Now give us the real team lads?
