Montpellier have registered an interest in signing Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki, according to French news outlet L’Equipe.
The Ligue 1 could now be set for talks with the Poland international winger. The transfers window ends on the 31st August and European clubs can still buy players.
Montpellier, who won the French top flight in 2012, are keen to utilise the window and bring Kamil Grosicki back to Ligue 1 from the Championship.
Grosicki joined the Tigers in January 2017 from Rennes for a fee of around £7 million but he could not prevent them from slipping into the Championship under their former manager Marco Silva.
The Poland international, who represented his country at the World Cup in Russia this summer, stayed with Hull in the second tier last season despite being constantly linked with moves away from the KCOM Stadium. He played 38 games in all competitions and managed 9 goals.
Grosicki is a top player in the Championship on his day and showed glimpses of genuine quality for Hull last season. The Tigers will be hoping to keep hold of him but if the right offer came in they would not stand in the way of a move away for the 30-year-old winger.
