Bogle has the potential to be a great signing for Birmingham City providing he gets the service from his new team mates.
About Omar Bogle –
In non-league Omar Bogle made his name at Hinckley and then Solihull Moors, he was constantly being connected with the professional ranks, there was a trial at Cardiff and links with MK Dons and Port Vale.
He left Hinckley in July 2012 having scored three in eight, he signed for Solihull Moors in the Conference North.
He scored 18 goals in his first season and earned himself a trial with Bournemouth.
He impressively scored 19 in his second season with Solihull Moors and in his third with 29 in 42 games and was the Conference North’s top goalscorer and the division’s Player of the Year. That took his total to 68 goals from 117 starts for Solihull Moors.
Omar Bogle then made the step up to the Conference with Grimsby Town, he put pen to paper on a three year deal and going on to produce the goods at the next level.
He scored 19 times in the 2015/2016 season which saw Hurst’s men promoted back into the Football League, via the play-offs, for the first time in six years.
After 19 goals in the first half of the League Two campaign, it was Wigan who won the race to sign him.
