Five midfielders who Hull City should sign before the end of the transfer window

Hull City are in the hunt for another central midfielder before the transfer window shuts. Here are five midfielders who they should sign-

Oliver Norwood, Brighton and Hove Albion- The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Fulham in the Championship and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League. He is available to leave Brighton this summer and Hull have already had a bid rejected for him. Norwood worked with Nigel Adkins at Reading and they should reunite at the KCOM Stadium.

Jacob Butterfield, Derby County- He appears to have fallen down the pecking order at Derby and spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday. Butterfield is proven in the Championship and is an experienced midfielder. He would slot in nicely into Hull’s side.

Jon Nolan, Shrewsbury Town- The former Stockport County, Grimsby Town and Chesterfield man impressed in League One last season for Shrewsbury Town and deserves a move to the Championship. He would offer Hull some more creativity and energy in midfield.

Brad Potts, Barnsley- The 24-year-old played his first season in the Championship for Barnsley in the last campaign and showed signs of promise. Potts, who has previously played for Carlisle United and Blackpool, could be available after the Tykes’ relegation to League One and is another option for the Tigers to explore.

Eunan O’Kane, Leeds United- The Republic of Ireland international is one who Leeds have been open to offloading in this transfer window and he would not be a bad signing for Hull. O’Kane has got plenty of Championship experience from spells at Leeds and AFC Bournemouth.
