About Barry Douglas –

Barry Douglas has proved a brilliant signing for Wolves, providing 15 assists in a successful first season in English football.

The Scottish left-back moved to English when he switched Konyaspor for Wolves for an undisclosed fee in 2017.

The defender agreed a two-year deal with the option of a further 12 months at Molineux, after spending 18 months playing out in Turkey.

He began his career with Queen’s Park, before signing professional terms for the first time at Dundee United in 2010.

Three solid years saw Douglas tie up a move to Lech Poznan is Poland, where he went on to win the league title and Polish Supercup, as well as play in the Champions League.

Then came another change of country, as Douglas moved to Konyaspor in Poland, where he remained before returning to the UK four years after he left.

He quickly settled into life at Molineux, making his debut on the opening day against Middlesbrough and netting his first goal at Derby County a week later.
