Leeds United owner splashes the cash – but Leeds fans aren’t happy

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has expanded his broadcasting network, by acquiring the rights to show Eredivisie and Chinese Super League matches.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Eleven Sports, who have previously won the rights to show Serie A and La Liga games, have now added two more leagues to what they are able to show in the United Kingdom.

Radrizzani created Eleven Sports back in 2015, and the network now boaasts a number of TV deals across Europe and beyond.

While Radrizzani will be thrilled at the expansion of his company, it is fair to say that Leeds United fans are not best pleased that their Italian owner is not splashing the cash at the football club.

Here is a look at what some of them had to say after Phil Hay reported the news:

This Leeds United supporter wants Radrizzani to expand on the players at Elland Road, and bring in some new faces rather than investing more money into Eleven Sports.

This fan does not seem particularly bothered at Radrizzani’s latest achievement.

While this supporter understands that Radrizzani is concerned with his other business, his main concern is Leeds United, and he thinks the Italian should be the same.

It’s a slight exaggeration…but you can understand how Leeds United fans are now feeling.

This Leeds United supporter thinks that Andrea Radrizzani is a bit of a fraud…

It is clear to see why Leeds United fans are so frustrated, as it seems they have missed out on yet another target today, with Florian Josefzoon set to move to Derby County.
