Derby County today confirmed that two promising youngsters had joined their club on a season long loan deal. Mason Mount has signed from manager Frank Lampard’s former club Chelsea, while Harry Wilson has completed a deal that will see him move from Champions League finalists Liverpool.
The Rams had been expected to use Lampard’s former club Chelsea this summer, with the former England international expected to call upon them to help improve on last season’s performance.

Many Derby County fans are now speculating that the two new signings have left the door open to Matej Vydra to leave the club.
You do wonder now whether these two signings will put the accelerator on an exit for Vydra. Don’t a Prem club fancy spending some silly money? #dcfc #dcfcfans
