Sky Bet Championship – RequestABet Specials

The new Championship season is nearly upon us. It all kicks off in just over two weeks time. We’re going to take a look at some RequestABet’s you can have punt on ready for the new campaign.

The Outsider

The biggest outsider is priced at a massive 2000/1. You can bet on Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion all to be relegated from the Championship and get paid out at a massive 2000/1.  Of course this is highly unlikely, hence the odds given, but it’s certainly not an impossibility because after all, literally anything can happen in this division.

The Favourite

The favourite RequestABet on site at the minute is Leeds United to finish in the top six and Sheffield United to finish outside the top six. This is priced at 2/1. Leeds United have recently appointed new manager Marcelo Bielsa and many people have high expectations of him which is why they’re one of the favourites for a top six finish. Following a good start to last season Sheffield United ended up in 10th place. They’re not expected to make the play-offs this season but this could help them go under the radar so to speak. Although a favourite, it’s certainly not a given and there’s a lot of risk to it given how short the odds are. This might be one to avoid.

Our Tip

Middlesbrough top two finish, Derby and Nottingham Forest top six finish and Bolton and Rotherham to be relegated is currently priced at 175/1 which is a remarkable price. Middlesbrough are one of the favourites for promotion, Derby and Forest are both two of the favourites for a top six finish and Bolton and Rotherham are the two outright favourites to be relegated. Given this, we think 175/1 is a ridiculously good price. A £10 bet on this would return you a massive £1750!
