The Englishman spent all of last season on loan at Sheffield United. He made 33 appearances for the Blades, including both of Sheffield United’s 2-1 wins over Leeds United and their 4-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Blackman conceded just 35 goals all season and kept a impressive ten clean sheets.
The 24-year-old is yet to play for Chelsea’s first team but he did spend a long time at League One Wycombe Wanderers. He made 52 appearances for them. Conceding just 61 goals and keeping 17 clean sheets. He even had a loan spell out in Sweden at Ostersunds FK. He made just 12 appearances for the club. During this time he conceded 22 goals and kept three clean sheets.
This man is very talented young goalkeeper with a bright future ahead of him. But what to Leeds United fans make of this signing?
Jesus his legs are longer than our search for a striker.
