Hull City keen on transfer deals- Five/six potential signings this week

Hull City are getting busy in the transfer window as Nigel Adkins continues to bolster his squad. Here are the transfer deals they want to get done this week-

George Long, Sheffield United- Hull are hoping to complete the signing of the 24-year-old goalkeeper from their Championship rivals this week, as reported by The72 over the weekend. Adkins sees his former Sheffield United number one as good competition for Hull’s David Marshall.

Todd Kane, Chelsea- The Tigers are hoping to snap up the Chelsea defender this week, as reported by The72 yesterday. He has spent time on loan at Bristol City, Preston, Nottingham Forest, Blackburn, FC Groningen, NEC Nijmegen and Oxford but is set to find a new home in East Yorkshire.

Conor Townsend, Scunthorpe United- We have previously reported that the League One defender is high on Hull’s radar and this is another potential signing they could pursue over the coming days. Townsend left Hull in 2016 to join Scunthorpe but could be on his way back to the KCOM Stadium this summer.

Philipp Sittsam, Sturm Graz- The Tigers are looking to bolster their youth ranks with the signing of the 19-year-old midfielder. He is set to link up with the Hull City Under-23’s in Alicante and is a name for their fans to keep an eye on in the future.

A new striker- It is no secret that Hull are keen on bringing in a striker and this could happen over the next week or so. Two names that have been linked in the past are Barnsley’s Tom Bradshaw and Kasimpasa’s Mbaye Diagne.
