Cardiff City are showing an interest in signing Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Viera, as reported by The72 earlier today.
The Bluebirds’ boss, Neil Warnock, is looking to delve back into the Championship market to bring more players into his squad. He is keen to further bolster his squad ahead of Cardiff’s upcoming Premier League campaign.
The Welsh side have raided the second tier for the signings of Bobby Reid from Bristol City, Alex Smithies from QPR, Greg Cunningham from Preston North End and Josh Murphy from Norwich City. They have now set their sights on Leeds United’s Ronaldo Viera.
The 19-year-old is seen as one of the brightest young talents in Leeds’ ranks and he has already played 68 times for their first-team. He is expected to be a key player for Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season so they will not want to lose him to Cardiff.
Viera joined the Whites in May 2015 having previously been in the Benfica academy. He has also represented England at Under-20 and Under-21 level and has won the Toulon Tournament twice so far in his career.

8m for Vieira! I'd snap their hands off. I'll drive him there myself. Seriously don't rate him. #lufc

8 million for a 19 year old England under 21? – I don’t think so.Hopefully we’ve learnt from the Cook situation #Lufc
