Journalist Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Post has tweeted to suggest that the West-Yorkshire club have hit somewhat of a dead end in their search to bring a new striker to Elland Road, and with time quickly running out until the new season begins, panic stations are beginning to set in.

It appears deals for Matej Vydra and Abel Hernandez are all but over and now, it’s widely expected that the club will have to move for a deal to bring Jordan Hugill or Jonathan Kodjia to Elland Road.

Leeds United fans are hoping business will get done, and quickly with their squad looking somewhat threadbare at the minute ahead of the start of the Championship season.

Time is running out for Leeds United, and fast.
