Joe Hart, Birmingham City early outsiders for ex England number one

Birmingham City early outsiders for ex England number one

Online bookmakers Sky Bet have made Birmingham City 12/1 outsiders to sign former England number one and West Ham United goalkeeper, Joe Hart. The former Manchester City man has been out of favour at West Ham recently.

Joe Hart had an awful season for West Ham last season and saw his place in the starting XI lost to Adrian on several occasions. The Englishman shifted a shocking 39 goals in just 19 Premier League appearances as the West Ham United fans quickly turned against him and called for him to be dropped.

While out of favour at Manchester City, Joe Hart went out on loan to Italian side AS Roma, which didn’t go to plan. Along several goalkeeping howlers he conceded a massive 62 goals in just 36 games, keeping just five clean sheets which is awful.

Following his return to Manchester City from AS Roma, the 31-year-old signed for West Ham from Manchester City. This was after Pep Guardiola decided he wasn’t good enough passing out from the back so decided to get rid. Ever since the Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland, Joe Hart has seen his career go down hill. He’s now facing having to move away from West Ham just to get some game time.

Sky Bet are now offering odds of 12/1 for Joe Hart to make the move up to Birmingham. You can get odds on Hart to move Sporting Lisbon at 4/1 and Nice at 9/2. Despite these odds, his most likely destination seems to be the MLS with odds of 7/2 being offered.
