Hull City and Reading competing with Bournemouth for signature of former Juventus striker

Hull City and Reading are competing with Bournemouth for the signature of Kasimpasa’s Mbaye Diagne according to a report from Turkish Football.

Both Hull and Reading are coming off the back of disappointing seasons. Hull were hoping to get promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking while Reading wanted to be back in the thick of the fight after losing to Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final the year before. However instead they ended up in a battle against relegation and both sides ended up having to be happy with staying in the division.

And now both sides looking for someone who can turn their teams back into promotion contenders are talking to a player that is an unknown on these shores. The Senegalese striker has been around though and has even been on the books of Juventus though he never made an appearance for them. During his career he has played in China for Tianjin Teda, in Italy for Bra and in Hungary for Ujpest. But it is him scoring 12 goals in 17 appearances for Turkish side Kasimpasa which has attracted attention not only from Hull and Reading but also Premier League side Bournemouth.

According to this report, which was revealed to Turkish Football by Diagne’s agent, the various representatives of these three clubs are meeting with Kasimpasa in Belgium to discuss terms of this transfer. They are willing to sell for the right price so it could be the ideal opportunity to sign him for either of these three teams.
