Burton Albion have announced that they have signed former midfielder Dundee United Scott Fraser on a two-year deal.
Scott Fraser come through the youth ranks at Dundee United and has played for Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership and Championship.
Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough said: “Scott is a young, attacking midfielder who we feel has got potential to improve.”
“He can play in a few different positions and is very keen to come down to England to make his mark.”
“The Scottish market remains a good option for us as we look to build a team for League One.”
Scott Fraser said this after putting pen to paper at Burton Albion: “I’m very happy to be here. I think it’s the right move for me. When I found out what clubs might be interested this was the best feel I got and having spoken to the manager and coming down to see the ground and training facilities I think it’s a club where I can get better as a player.”
“I’m an attacking player who likes to get on the ball whether that’s midfield or more of an attacking position. I like to create chances and assists for my team-mates but I want to add more goals too.”
“I was coming to the end of my contract and was speaking about a new one, but I just felt a change was needed to move away, grow up and try and improve as a player. And everything about this move felt right.”
