Leeds United fans comment on Hernandez shirt tweet

The Bielsa revolution starts tomorrow and already legions of Whites fans are doing a better job than NORAD of tracking and checking flights across national airspace.

The man they call El Loco for his apparent off-the-cuff actions such as strolling out to meet protesting rival fans outside his house with a hand grenade. His methods of the training pitch and in games are also said to veer off the normally trodden path somewhat.

These have resulted in the fluid beauty that is his favoured 3-3-1-3 formation which favours an energetic high-pressing game in the opposition’s defensive zone. It is a system that will necessitate the need for some additions to the first team squad at Elland Road.

Paramount in fans’ eyes is the need for a more consistent striker, the two big names being linked are Uruguayan Abel Hernandez and Derby County’s bouncing Czech Matej Vydra.

Twitter is being scoured by Whites fans for any type of news on new signings, news that will be pored over and devoured. Any tweet of interest, link, or otherwise will be seized upon; the following from Abel Hernandez’s official account:

Journalist Alan Nixon has said a couple of signings could be unveiled on Sunday to coincide with Bielsa’s arrival. With Leeds United fans desperate for a signing, then it comes as no surprise that Whites fans commented on the above tweet.

Only time will tell whether Leeds United fans will get Abel Hernandez, or indeed Matej Vydra, as the new spearhead striker at Elland Road. However, either would be an upgrade on what is currently at the club and at Marcelo Bielsa’s disposal.
