Nottingham Forest agree deal with young England International

England Under-16 International Alex Mighten has signed a new deal with Nottingham Forest and has become a professional scholar at the club by committing his future to the Reds with a contract worth two-and-a-half-years, the clubs website have published.

The young winger has played for England Under 15’s and Under 16’s and the new deal that he has signed with Nottingham Forest means that he will become a senior pro when the deal commences on his 17th Birthday.

Nottingham Forest’s website states that the winger was a freuqent fixture in Nottingham Forest’s youth set-up last season, featuring frequently for the clubs Under-18s team and also breaking into the clubs Under-23 team at the age of just 16.

The young winger could go on to be a big talent for Forest in the future and by pledging his future to the club, he has the opportunity to work his way up the ranks at the East Midlands side with hope that he will eventually break into the first team.

 

Nottingham Forest have been busy in the transfer window of late, bringing in Benfica duo Diogo Goncalves and Joao Carvalho and now have been linked with a move for a number of strikers during this transfer window to add some reinforcements up front.

Aitor Karanka’s side are fancied for promotion this season and seem keen to bring in a number of players in order to plan a promotion push for this upcoming season. With the club set to bring in more reinforcements in the coming weeks, they could be ones to watch in terms of transfer business.
