In the early hours of this morning it emerged that Leeds United are interested in Liverpool youngster, Harry Wilson. This is according to the Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer, Phil Hay.
The Leeds United target, Harry Wilson, is a highly talented and highly rated young striker who has also made the breakthrough into the Wales senior national squad. He made his first national appearance all the way back in 2013 but has recently played against China, Uruguay and Mexico. The 21-year-old scored and picked up an assist is a thumping 6-0 win against China in the China Cup.
As for last season, he spent the first half of last season playing for the Liverpool under 23’s where he impressed massively. He scored ten goals in just 12 games and picked up three assists too. Thanks to this impressive spell he earned a loan move up to the Championship where he carried on to impress for Hull City. He managed 17 appearances for The Tigers where he scored seven goals and assists four to round off a great season for the youngster.
It’s unknown how much Liverpool would ask for Wilson, it could even be another loan deal. Transfermarkt.com currently value the Liverpool starlet at just under £1m. Although it’s unclear how accurate this is. I’m sure this isn’t the last we will hear of this potential transfer so keep your eyes peeled for future developments on this one.
