The last few days have been rather hectic for Nottingham Forest fans, but it appears they are a club who are very much on the up. The Reds have renewed optimism under Aitor Karanka for this upcoming season that they can restore the former glory that they once boasted, after a difficult team in the new millennium.
Under the guidance of Karanka, the club look set to beat their transfer record for midfielder Joao Carvalho for a fee roughly double the amount of their previous record that was on striker Britt Assombalonga. Furthermore, the Reds have sold a large number of season tickets with their fantastic initiative to bring young fans to the club and to encourage them to support their team for years to come.
Furthermore, the club have agreed on a deal that gives them a new sponsor with BetBright who according to the Nottingham Post are set to offer the Reds the biggest sponsorship deal in the clubs history – pretty good, positive going.
The Reds go into this season with optimism that Karanka can be the man who brings success back to Nottinghamshire for this upcoming season and takes Forest back into the Premier League – which they haven’t seen since 1999.
Nottingham Forest have a large and growing fanbase, they have a rich and extensive history and furthermore, they now have money to spend. Watch out for Forest next May as they are definitely a team who will be up there at the top of division, battling for promotion.
