Liverpool’s Ryan Kent will go out on loan this summer, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

The 21-year-old has spent time out on loan from Liverpool at Coventry City, Barnsley, Freiburg and Bristol City. The Reds are keen to offload him again for more first-team experience.

Scottish Premier League giants Rangers are leading the race for Kent. Their manager, Steven Gerrard, is looking to raid his former club for young talent and has already brought Ovie Ejaria to Ibrox. His next target is Ryan Kent and he is one who would bolster Rangers’ attacking options.

Leeds United are also keen on bringing Kent in on loan for next season. They have been linked with some big players this summer such as Abel Hernandez, Kyle Bartley and most recently Matej Vydra. Ryan Kent would provide them with another attacking option.

Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic have been credited with an interest. Both of them were promoted from League One last season and are looking to prepare for life in the Championship in the next campaign. Kent could consider one of Blackburn or Wigan as they would offer him regular first-team football.

Ryan Kent is a promising young talent but his loan spells at Freiburg and Bristol City did not go as well as he would have wanted. Next season will provide him with another chance to impress and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
