1. Grant McCann 3/1
McCann seems to be by many people, the clear choice to take over at Bradford City and he would be a fantastic asset to the club, should the owners choose to appoint him as manager.
McCann is young, hungry and determined to succeed after a reasonably successful spell with Peterborough United and his knowledge of the division would give him a clear upper-hand on any competition for the division.
When Peterborough United beat Bradford City 3-1 on Boxing Day last season, the football that they played under McCann was both attractive and a delight to watch. Bradford City’s philosophy is to play attacking football that gets fans up and out of their seats and McCann would bring that type of style to West-Yorkshire, if he was given the job.
Peterborough United fans were incensed when the club-legend was sacked this season and his ability to help mix a blend of both youth and experience would mean he’s the ideal candidate for the job in West Yorkshire.
It appears a race between Bradford City and Barnsley to sign the Northern-Irishman as their manager and it definitely isn’t one the Bantams will want to lose.
