Preston North End keen on ex-Sheffield United forward

Preston North End are interested in signing Yeovil Town forward Otis Khan, according to Bristol Live.

Burton Albion and Luton Town, who will both be playing in League One next season, are also being linked with a move for Khan with is looking like Yeovil will face a battle in holding onto him this summer.

The 22-year-old impressed for Yeovil in League Two this season and scored 10 goals in all competitions, building on the 8 goals he managed in the 2016/17 campaign. He has established himself as a key player for the Glovers and is a popular player there.

Otis Khan started his career at Manchester United but moved to Sheffield United in 2012. He made his debut for the Blades in March 2014 against Crawley Town. However, he struggled to break into the first-team at Bramall Lane and was loaned out to Buxton, Matlock Town and Barrow before he was released in January 2016.

He was quickly snapped up by Barnsley after the Blades released him and played 3 games for them in the remainder of the 2015/16 in League One before he was let go again. Yeovil Town signed him in the summer of 2016 and he has turned out to be an inspired signing for them.

Preston North End, Luton Town and Burton Albion will all battle it out for Otis Khan now and he will be a good long-term signing for one of them.
