Top 50 Players of the EFL – 5th: Bradley Dack (Blackburn Rovers)

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack has been voted by you as the 5th best player in the EFL.

Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Dack is the 5th best player in the Football League. This is the first time he has been on the Top 50 Players countdown.

A few years ago, Dack was seen as of the best players in Sky Bet League One after having a brilliant year for Gillingham. He was linked with a lot of clubs the following summer but because a move never materialised and his follow-up season wasn’t as good, he did get forgotten. EFL hype is such a fickle thing and everyone will move onto the next big thing should your form dip slightly.

However one team that did remember Dack’s form was Blackburn and they made him their big signing following their relegation into League One. This was a genius move as he bettered his form from the 2016/17 season and helped lead Blackburn back into the Sky Bet Championship. Like the last time he was tearing up the division, his main strength was his ability to score an amount of goals that would make a striker jealous.
