Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Reid is the 9th best player in the Football League. This is the first time he has been on the Top 50 Players countdown.

Bristol City had a problem coming into this season. A lot of their success last time around came from the on-loan Tammy Abraham who had been a goal machine for them. But they couldn’t get him back on loan and he ended up at Premier League Swansea City. Well, Premier League until next season at least. But it turns out the man who could be their next top striker was at the club already.

Reid had primarily been used as a central midfielder before this season but for whatever reason, he was given a shot at being a striker this time around. And it paid off as he soon become one of the more impressive players in the league. In his 52 appearances this season, he would go on to score 21 goals. He would also make seven assists to prove he is more than just a goal scorer. With 19 goals in the Sky Bet Championship, Reid would finish as the joint third highest scorer in the league, tied with Leon Clarke and behind Lewis Grabban and Matej Vydra.
