Which other clubs want Leeds United target Abel Hernandez?

Leeds United are keen on signing Hull City striker Abel Hernandez on a free transfer, as reported by The72 yesterday. However, the Whites will face competition for his signature.

Here are some other clubs who have been linked with him as well-

Wolves- The newly promoted Premier League side are reportedly keen on the Uruguayan striker, according to the Birmingham Mail. Nuno Espirito Santo’s will be looking for potential signings for the summer and may Hernandez as someone who will bolster his attacking options.

Nottingham Forest- The Birmingham Mail also reported that Championship side Nottingham Forest are interested in Hernandez. However, his wage demands may price Aitor Karanka’s side out of any potential deal for him.

Newcastle United- It was reported in the Daily Mail last month that the Premier League side were weighing up a move for the 27-year-old striker. He would be a decent option on a free transfer for a top flight club.

Aston Villa- If Villa are promoted then a reunion with his old Hull City boss Steve Bruce could be on the cards for Hernandez, according to the Hull Daily Mail. It is likely that he would rather play in the Premier League then the Championship.

Celtic- The Scottish Premier League giants have also been linked with Hernandez. However, the Hoops moving for him could depend on the future of Moussa Dembele.

Serie A clubs- It is a distinct possibility that Hernandez could move back to Italy. He joined Hull from Palermo in 2014 and Italian clubs could be queuing up for him this summer.
