Jose Riga set to quit Blackpool Post

Breaking news is flooding out of Bloomfield road with reports that new boss Jose Riga is set to leave the club after just 5 weeks in charge of the club, as reported by ITV Sports.

The Seasiders find themselves in a embarrassing situation after narrowly missing out on relegation last season and things seem to have gone from bad to worse for the north west club.

The club itself only currently has eight professionals. and were forced to cancel their pre-season tour of Spain.

The Ex-Charlton boss joined the club back on June 11th, however without a formal press interview by Riga fans have been left in the dark about the clubs goals & aims.

With only 24 days to go until Blackpool kick their season off at Nottingham Forest things have gone from bad to worse. Riga has believe to have arrived at the club with a host of transfer targets however rumour have been spreading that Tangerine owner Oyston is unwilling to authorize the transfers.

Oyston might well sack Riga if the Belgium fails to leave on his own accord after the both came to a stand-off,  ITV have stated that the two have had to have crisis talks on Wednesday.

Fans have been reacting angrily over how Oyston has treat the club that they hold so dear, with as many as 500 season tickets wishing to be refunded, Blackpool are on a slippery slope which if not invested in soon may mean Blackpool will not have to required components to compete this season.
