Reading by Kieran Ruffle

  • Reading v Queens Park Rangers - Barclays Premier LeagueThis summer has seen a Thai consortium taking over at the Madjeski and with a desire to invest money into the club, hopefully fans will see Reading being very active in the upcoming transfer windows.
  • At present the Royals have a very little squad it’s a chance for the youth players to step up and take there chance in the first team, how well can they do? Only time will tell.
  • Reading have completed all of their pre-season games and can take confidence as they are going into the 2014/15 season in good form recording 2 wins 2 draws and 1 lose respectively.
  • The new season sees Reading begin their second season back in the Championship and under new captaincy with central midfielder Jem Karacan being selected by Nigel Adkins to takeover following the departure of Jobi Mcanuff. Will Karacan be able to lead Reading back to the Premier League?
