Five players Bristol Rovers should sign in the summer

Bristol Rovers have had a decent campaign under Darrell Clarke and will be looking to push on into the Play-Offs next season. Here are five players they should sign to help them do this-

Dorian Dervite, Bolton Wanderers- The 29-year-old defender is out of contract in the summer when his deal at Championship side Bolton Wanderers expires. He would be a great signing for Bristol Rovers as he has experience of playing in League One before with Bolton and Charlton Athletic.

Hope Akpan, Burton Albion- Formerly of Everton, Hull City, Crawley Town, Reading, Blackburn Rovers and now Burton Albion. He is a free agent in June and would be a shrews signing by Bristol Rovers. He is also a Nigeria international.

Nicky Law, Bradford City- The experienced midfielder is out of contract with League One side Bradford City ad Bristol Rovers should try and sign him. He has been a key player for the Bantams over the past two seasons and has genuine quality at this level.

Christian Dodge, Forest Green- The striker has adapted well to life in the Football League after helping Forest Green get promoted from the National League last season. He has scored 16 goals this season and it would be interesting to see if he could do it in League One.

Luke Varney, Burton Albion- He would be a shrewd signing as he would give Bristol Rovers some experience up top and this would come in handy in a promotion charge.
