Five players Simon Grayson should get rid of at Bradford City

After a disappointing season at Bradford City, Simon Grayson should reshuffle his squad by letting a few players leave the club allowing himself to rebuild his side for next year.

Simon Grayson has only been at Bradford City for seven matches, but his arrival has failed to bring a change of fortune for the downwardly-mobile Bantams.

He has lost five of those seven games, the latest of those losses coming at Blackpool on Saturday where the Yorkshiremen were smashed 5-0 to make it 11 defeats in the last 15 games in all competitions.

Grayson has had enough and launched an astonishing attack on his players when summing up their poor performance at Bloomfield Road, which came after over 2,300 supporters had travelled to the seaside to watch their team play.

Grayson said: “There was a lack of desire, decision-making, ambition… just a lack of desire to do what we ask the players to do,” he fumed. “That’s the angriest I have been in a long, long time as a manager and the stick the supporters gave the players was justifiably so.”
