Five players Nottingham Forest could lose for free in the summer

It is expected to be a summer of change at Nottingham Forest under the guidance of Aitor Karanka. Here are five players they could lose for free at the end of the season-

Danny Fox- His contract at the City Ground is up in the summer and it is yet to be known whether he will be offered a new one or not. The 31-year-old Scotland international can play as either a left-back or a centre-back.

Jack Hobbs- The former Lincoln City, Liverpool, Leicester City and Hull City defender has played for Forest since 2014. However, his time with them has been affected by injury and he may be allowed to leave on a free transfer in June.

David Vaughan- The 35-year-old Wales international is likely to leave Forest in the summer for free. He has played over 100 games for them since signing for them in 2013. He has also played for Crewe Alexandra, Sunderland and Blackpool.

Chris Cohen- He has had his injury problems and there has been suggestion that he could retire when his contract expires. The 31-year-old is now the joint manager of Forest’s U23 side.

Juan Rafael Fuentes- The Spaniad, formerly of Cordoba, Osasuna and Espanyol, joined Forest on a short-term contract in January. They have the option to extend his deal by another year and this is an option they could exercise before June.
