Five players Barnsley could lose for free in the summer

Barnsley have endured a difficult season so far in the Championship. Having lost Paul Heckingbottom to Leeds United, they are now managed by Jose Morais. Here are five players they could lose for free in the summer-

Andy Yiadom- The 26-year-old has been attracting interest from the Premier League over the past year or so. Swansea City and Huddersfield Town have both tried to sign him in the past. He is set to leave Oakwell on a free transfer with his contract expiring in June.

Matt Mills- The experienced defender only joined Barnsley in January from Nottingham Forest and his contract also expires in June. The former Reading, Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers centre-back could be looking for a new club in the summer unless Barnsley offer him a new contract.

Adam Hammill- The 30-year-old winger has been a great servant to Barnsley and their fans will be hoping they can offer him a new deal to avoid losing him for free at the end of the season. It could depend on whether or not they stay up this season.

Jack Walton- The young goalkeeper could be set to leave Oakwell in the summer with his contract up in June. The 19-year-old is currently on loan at Stalybridge Celtic in the Northern Premier League.

Shaun Tuton- The 26-year-old striker is currently out on loan at National League side Barrow and his contract with Barnsley is up in the summer. He joined the Tykes in 2015 from FC Halifax Town but has not been able to break into the first-team at Oakwell.
