Leeds United were beaten, quite easily, by a Wolves side in imperious form; a side who’d be good enough to win any Championship campaign. Tonight they proved that. sweeping Leeds United aside 3-0.
It was a performance from Leeds that was much the same as Middlesbrough on Friday just gone with a scoreline to match. However, despite proving to be just as lightweight tonight, there was a definite sense that the Whites weren’t going to fold like they did on a freezing Teesside.
Outclassed, and ultimately outfought, Leeds United succumbed to goals by Romain Saiss, Willy Boly and Benik Afobe were enough to raise some talking points amongst Leeds United fans, but not as many as the tweets that owner Andrea Radrizzani posted after the game.
Radrizzani savages Wolves as Leeds owner bares teeth
We have our own problems but we should play in a fair competition. Not legal and fair let one team owned by a fund whom has shares in the biggest players agency with evident benefits (top European clubs giving players with options to buy ..why the other 23 teams can’t have same
— Andrea Radrizzani (@andrearadri) March 7, 2018
…treatment ? We should play all 24 with the same rules and opportunities (it s enough to google it) @EFL
— Andrea Radrizzani (@andrearadri) March 7, 2018
Congratulations to the best team but hope the league can be fair and equal to all 24 teams

This outburst has really captured the imagination and reaction of Leeds United fans on Twitter, who have been very quick to comment.
Leeds United fans respond to owner Radrizzani’s triple tweet whammy
I’d delete these tweets and stay off Twitter for now Radz. You and we know this has been poor in the extreme. A lot hasn’t worked. Sort it in Summer rather than giving an opportunity for fans to rant. There’s a massive job to be done pal.
— Colin Carmichael (@ColinCarmichae2) March 7, 2018
Now really isn’t the time for this tweet. If you’re trying to deflect from the result its not working. You’re not doing yourself or LUFC any good. Sound like sore losers.
— Debbington (@DebsHLUFC) March 7, 2018
You let Victor Orta pay £1.5m for a striker who can’t get in our under 23’s and you think Wolves our the problem? Sort your own shit out
— Scott Eaglen (@ScottEaglen) March 7, 2018
Sure. But we should also give ourselves half a chance by not hiring shit managers.
— The Scratching Shed (@TSSLUFC) March 7, 2018
We should have lost 0-5, thats what you should focus on! You shouldn’t use a calorie thinking about Wolves st this time!
— Leedsfan (@Leedsfan75) March 7, 2018
Sorry Andre this isn’t the time for excuses. Mistakes are been made time & time again at board level. All we want as fans is a team that shows passion and wears the white shirt with pride. That’s been sucked out of our team faster than ever. Don’t point blame at Wolves & 1 game.
— Chops (@OfficialChops) March 7, 2018
The simple fact is Wolves have spent good money on QUALITY players. You have tried to bring success by buying budget players. You have nobody to blame but yourself and tonight is not the night for your excuses. You may as well have kept Christiansen. We are worse now than ever!
— Cockney White (@cockney_white) March 7, 2018
Andrea you are wrong to say this. It is sour grapes and you should be focusing on #lufc and signing or finding funding of our own to sign quality players who can handle playing for this club and who want to WIN. No excuses. #MOT

It is safe to say that the masses of Leeds United fans are rightly aghast at the playground mentality of Andrea Radrizzani with his ‘toys out of the pram’ tweets. This is the sort of behaviour that many would have linked with Radrizzani’s madcap predecessor Massimo Cellino – the former owner of Leeds United.
