Leeds United finally ended their ten match winless run with a 1-0 victory over Brentford.

The Whites have struggled in the last few weeks and were desperate to get a win, especially with new head coach Paul Heckingbottom yet to taste victory since switching from Barnsley. Brentford however needed a win to keep in touch with the Sky Bet Championship play-offs.

And it was Leeds who would finally give their fans something to cheer by claiming the win. They took the lead when Liam Cooper was able to head in and Ezgjan Alioski’s free kick and they never looked like giving up that advantage for the rest of the game.
