5 Championship forwards out of contract in the summer

There are some top Championship strikers who are out of contract in the summer. Here are 5 who could leave their clubs on a free transfer-

Abel Hernandez- The Uruguayan international has been ruled out by injury so far this season but is set for a return soon. He scored 22 goals for the Tigers last time they were in the Championship and losing him on a free transfer would be a real shame for them.

Pablo Hernandez- The Leeds United playmaker could leave them for nothing as it stands. He has been a real hit at Elland Road after Garry Monk signed him in the summer of 2016. Losing him for nothing would be a sucker punch for the Whites fans.

Sammy Ameobi- The former Newcastle United forward has proven at Bolton Wanderers this season that he is a top player at this level. His contract at Bolton expires at the end of the season and he will no doubt have some bigger clubs monitoring his situation.

Gabby Agbonlahor- He has spent his whole career playing for Aston Villa but he could leave them this summer on a free transfer with a new deal still being up in the air. Villa fans will be hoping that they can tie their cult hero up on a longer contract.

Lee Gregory- He joined Millwall from non-league side FC Halifax and has had no problems in adapting to life in the Football League. He has been a decent servant to the London club but could leave them for nothing at the end of this campaign if they fail to offer him a new contract.
