There are many talented goalkeepers in the Championship whose contracts expire in the summer. Here are 5 who could leave their clubs for free in June-

Allan McGregor- The Scotland international has been Hull City’s first choice goalkeeper this season but is free to leave in the summer as it stands. The former Rangers and Besiktas ‘keeper is now 36 years-old but has proven in this campaign that he still has the ability to be a top goalkeeper at this level.

Mark Bunn- The experienced goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order at Aston Villa and looks set to leave them in June. The 33 year-old has previously played for the likes of Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United and would be a shred signing by a Football League club.

Luke Steele- He only joined Bristol City in July from Panathanaikos and has been battling with Frank Fielding for the number one jersey at Ashton Gate. He signed a one-year deal with the Robins and could leave them in the summer.

Mark Howard- The former Sheffield United has been in decent form for Bolton Wanderers this season but they could lose him at the end of the season with his contract set to expire. He would be a decent signing for another Championship or League One side.

Steven Bywater- The 36 year-old is vastly experienced at this level and is currently first-choice goalkeeper at struggling Burton Albion. His contract with the Brewers is set to expire in the summer and it is yet to be seen whether they will offer him a new deal yet.
