Cardiff City were able to pick up a solid 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers, bringing them to within a point of the automatic promotion zone.

With the Bluebirds getting to play one of their games in hand, they were hoping to use this match to close the gap on top two. However with Bolton close to the relegation zone, they were hoping that they could get a win to give themselves more breathing room.

But it was always going to be Cardiff’s day. The South Wales club looked deadly from long throws throughout the first half and were able to take the lead through one when Callum Paterson’s big throw landed at the feet of Armand Traore who duly smashed it in. Then the second was scored not much later. While Sean Morrison’s header was initially saved, his follow-up header ended up in the back of the net.

But what were the reactions from this good win for Cardiff?
